A village of prewar apartments and tight, beautiful houses where every inch is already spoken for.

Organizing homes and apartments in Bronxville
Bronxville is unusually dense for Westchester. A lot of it is prewar apartment buildings and compact village houses rather than sprawling lots.
Prewar buildings were designed for people who owned less. Closets are shallow, there are fewer of them, and there is rarely a basement to push the overflow into, so the only way to gain space is to use the space better.
