Organizing homes in Rye
Rye sits on the Sound, and a lot of its houses are run with the seasons: summer on the water, winter packed away.
Seasonal living doubles the storage load. Beach gear, boat equipment, two wardrobes and holiday everything all need somewhere to live for the half of the year they are not in use, and mudrooms and garages absorb it until they stop functioning as rooms at all.
