Home Organizer in Katonah
A village of houses older than the idea of a closet, with outbuildings that never say no.

Organizing homes in Katonah
Katonah is a 19th-century village of Victorians and farmhouses, many of them physically rolled to their present streets in the 1890s when the reservoir flooded the old village, surrounded by properties with barns, carriage houses and acreage.
These houses were built before fitted storage existed, so the original closets are shallow and few, and anything that does not fit goes out to the barn. An outbuilding has no natural limit — nothing is ever full, so nothing is ever decided. Then it sits somewhere unheated for a decade and half of it is no longer worth keeping.
