Home Organizer in Upper East Side
Prewar apartments with beautiful rooms and almost no closets.
Manhattan, NY
Organizing apartments on the Upper East Side
Much of the Upper East Side is prewar co-ops: high ceilings, formal rooms, and storage designed for a household that sent things out to be laundered and stored.
The closets are the whole problem. They are shallow, there are too few, and in a co-op you usually cannot knock through to make more. Everything has to be won back through how the existing space is used, which is detailed work and the single most valuable thing an organizer does in these apartments.
